In 1947, Mrs. Mattie Hunter moved the remains of several family members to Mount Calvary Cemetery after a long standing dispute with the cemetery that included cases of alleged mistaken graves and misplaced burials in the family plot purchased in 1930. The remains Mrs. Hunter's sister, Alice Jones, buried in another plot in 1938, were not moved at this time.
