John F. Parker,
Mr. John F. Parker, one of the earliest settlers, as well as best known residents, of Mount Winans, Baltimore county, died on last Wednesday night at his residence, in that town, aged 53 years.
Mr. Parker was born in Baltimore city, but moved to Mount Winans 27 years ago, and it was largely through his industry and energy that that prosperous town has been built up. He also took an active part in politics, both state and county.
His death resulted from pneumonia which he contracted on last Thursday. At the time of his death he was sexton of Sharp Street cemetery, and had been for a number of years.
