The funeral of Mrs. C. Luvenia Hodges, who died last Friday, following a lingering illness was held from her late home, 719 W. Mulberry street, Monday afternoon. Rev. Dr. A. Brown, pastor of Leadenhall Street Baptist Church, of which congregation she was a member, officiated. Interment was in Mt. Auburn Cemetery.

 

Messrs. George B. Brown, Asa W. Porter, James R. Wheeler and Frank Waters were the pallbearers. Five daughters and one son are among the surviving relatives.
