Mrs. Amelia Pck [sic] hsses [sic] Away.
The funeral of M. Amelia Ann Peck, who died at her home, 1905 Druid Hill avenue, [?]esday, after a brief illness, was held at Sharp Street Memorial M. E. Church yesterday (Friday) afternoon.
The services were conducted by Qev. W. A. C. Hughs, assisted by Qev. Drs. N. M. Carll, S. H. Norwood, D. G. Hill, and C. G. Cummings. The pallbears were members of the Methodist Episcopal Ministers' Meeting. Interment was in Mount Auburn Cemetery.
Mrs. Peck was born in Montgomery county, December 1846. She was married to Qev. W. S. Peck, one of the best-known ministers in the Washington Conference, in 1866.
Their marriage was regarded as ideal. Ten children were the result of this union, nine of whom are now living.
The children are: Edn M. Peck, organist of Sharp Stret Memorial Church; William V. Th[?]dus, Miss Ella, Miss Amelia F., [M]rs Edward Hughes, Mrs. Mamie (ggs, Mrs. Emma Height, all of the city, and Mrs. Alice Anderson of [B]oston.
