We wish to thank the many friends of our deceased Rev. Frank Tasker, for their sympathy and floral tokens; also the management and employers of the Hotel Kernan for their kindly interest.

Rev. Frank Tasker, a local preacher and class leader at Sharp Street Memorial M. E. Church for over a half century, died at the M. E. Home for the Aged, 1622 Druid Hill avenue, early Wednesday morning, following a three-day illness from a paralytic stroke.
 
The deceased was an old time waiter, working for many years at the old Carrollton Hotel, Rennerts, and the Green House. At the time of his death, he was employed at the Hotel Kernan.
 
He was born in Frederick, Md., 78 years ago, but had resided in this city for more than 60 years. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Bertha Young and Mrs. Lulu Stewart; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
 
Funeral services were held at Sharp Street Memorial M.E. Church Friday afternoon, representative church workers from all over the city being in attendance. Interment was in Mt. Auburn Cemetery.
