Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson, died at her home, 617 W. Saratoga street, last Saturday. She was suddenly stricken with heart disease, and exclaiming: “I am going to my Father’s house, there is nothing in the way, and my way is clear,” and died immediately.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Martha Robinson, a sister, Mrs. Emily Johnson, and a brother, Mr. Joshua West. The deceased was a member of the Metropolitan M.E. Church for 47 years.
The funeral took place from her home on Tuesday. Interment was in Mt. Auburn Cemetery.
