Mr. John H. Camper, principal of the Sparrows Point public school, died at Towson, last Monday after an illness of some months from tuberculosis. Mr. Camper had been in Towson for the past several months, hoping that the air there would improve his condition. He had been teacher in the schools of Baltimore county for over a quarter of a century, and was the principal of the school at Sparrows Point for over fifteen years, and was regarded one of the most efficient teachers in the county. He was a prominent member of the Baltimore County and State Teachers Association. Mr. Camper is survived by a widow who was Miss Mary Cromwell, a former teachers; and five children. The funeral, which was largely attended took place from his late residence, Wednesday, the service being conducted by Rev. J. Porter. The interment was in Mt. Auburn cemetery.
