The funeral of Lucy Cann Conyer, colored, who was for 35 years a servant in the home of Mrs. Mary A. Gees, 2050 Linden avenue, took place yesterday from St. John's African Methodist Episcopal Church. The services were conducted by her pastor, Rev. Elias J. Gregg. Burial was in Mount Auburn Cemetery. She was 75 years old and for 5 years had been almost helpless, but was taken care of by the family in whose service she had spent more than half her life.
