Charles W. Thomas, son of Rev. Dr. I.L. Thomas, field agent of the Church Extension Society M.E. Church, died at his home, 2111 Druid Hill avenue, after an illness lasting several months. Mr. Thomas was bornin Middleton, Md., 24 years ago. He was educated in the Princess Anne Academy and the public schools of Washington. Besides his father, he is survived by his mother, a brother and a sister.
 
The funeral took place from his late residence on Wednesday afternoon. The services were conducted by Rev. M.J. Naylor, assisted by Revs. W. H. Gaines, W.A.C. Hughes, E.W.S. Peck, and J.M. Beane, of Eastport, Md. Interment was in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. John H. Toadvin had charge of the funeral arrangements.
