Mrs. Cora V. Gray, the wife of Mr. Perry Y. Gray and beloved daughter of Wm. B. and Julia A. Marshall departed this life on May 1 at 10.45 o’clock in the full triumph of faith at her late residence, 224 Rogers avenue, in the 29th year of her age. The funeral services were held in the Grace Presbyterian Church, on May 4, conducted by the pastor, Rev. E. F. Eggleston, assisted by the General Secretary of the Y.M.C.A., Mr. P.A. Goins.

A large number of floral designs and cut flowers were given by her many friends as a token of their esteem. A beautiful wreath of white roses was placed around her head and a bunch of carnations laid gently on her breast by her two little daughters, Gladys and Minnie. The pall-bearers were Messrs. Chas. Bowers, Daniel Brown, Chas. Tilghman, Harry Johnson, Chas. Stevens and Wm. Gray. Interment in Mount Auburn Cemetery, Mr. Robert A. Elliott, funeral director.

“Our daughter now sleepeth, free from sorrow and pain,
Disturb her not, good Spirit, to suffer again;
She sleepeth so sweetly, oh, let her sleep on,
Her troubles are all over and sorrow all gone.
For Heaven now retains our treasure,
Earth the lonely casket keeps,
Sweetest thoughts shall ever linger,
While our beloved Cora sleeps.”
